Over the past decade, I have developed both basic and advanced sewing skills, ensuring precision and quality in every project I undertake. Additionally, my skill set includes draping, where I have learned to sculpt fabric on a dress form to create garments with impeccable fit and flow.
I am proficient in pattern making and drafting, allowing me to translate design concepts into detailed patterns ready for construction. My training in fashion illustration has equipped me with the ability to visually communicate design ideas through dynamic and expressive sketches. Moreover, I have mastered technical flat sketching, which involves creating accurate and detailed flat representations of garments, essential for production and manufacturing processes. These combined skills reflect my comprehensive understanding of the fashion design process, from initial concept to final product.

I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom, allowing me to create and edit high-quality visual content. Additionally, I have expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, facilitating efficient document creation, data analysis, and presentations. I am also adept at using Canva for quick and effective design projects.

During my time at FIDM, I pursued a diverse range of design courses to expand my knowledge and refine my artistic abilities. These included figure drawing, knitting, and screen printing.
In the knitting course, I mastered essential techniques for operating a home knitting machine and developed a keen understanding of how different yarns impact the final product.
The figure drawing class provided an in-depth study of human anatomy, which we applied to drawing live models, utilizing advanced shading techniques to achieve precise and realistic results.
In the screen printing class, I acquired skills in mixing dyes, burning screens, and hand-printing on various types of fabrics, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the entire process.
